The Casemate

The Casemate building in Manchester. A military building which housed the remote control for the underwater mines which protected the Kitsap Peninsula . No longer in use and slowly reclaimed by its surroundings this building has a sense of intrigue calm and a bit of sadness . I wanted to represent all the imperfections withering and effects of time on this space . — Watercolor — 16" x 20" — 2026 — Original — Signed
